About Gwen

I’m Gwen Wiseman, aka @GwenofAssisi, a former UK-based professional who left the corporate world to follow a call to deeper prayer, simplicity, and service in Assisi, Italy.

For the past seven years, I’ve lived in this sacred town, serving as Music Director for the English Mass at the Papal Basilica of Saint Francis. I also work with the Diocese of Assisi on international projects, including relic missions for Saint Carlo Acutis across English-speaking countries.

I'm the author of several devotional books and lead Catholic retreats and spiritual pilgrimages, helping others encounter God through the peace and witness of the saints of Assisi.

Via Assisi is my way of sharing that calling — offering space for prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal in one of the most beautiful and grace-filled places on earth.
